The Arlington Renegades (0-3) will travel to Houston to take on the Roughnecks (0-3) in a matchup of two winless teams desperate to get their seasons on track. Both teams entered the season with high hopes but have struggled out of the gate, making this a crucial game as they look to turn things around.

The Renegades have been on the wrong end of two heartbreaking losses in a row, falling victim to the UFL’s innovative fourth-and-12 alternative kickoff rule in Week 3 against the D.C. Defenders. Quarterback Luis Perez, the reigning XFL MVP, has shown flashes of brilliance but has also struggled with turnovers at times. If the Renegades hope to come out on top, they’ll need Perez to take better care of the football and make plays when it matters most.

The Roughnecks, meanwhile, have struggled to find consistency on offense and have been plagued by turnovers and costly penalties. In Week 3, they gave up a whopping five sacks and committed three turnovers in a loss to the Michigan Panthers. If the Roughnecks hope to secure their first win of the season, they’ll need to do a better job of protecting the quarterback and avoiding self-inflicted wounds.

With both teams hungry for a victory and looking to salvage their seasons, expect a hard-fought battle from start to finish. The Renegades will look to lean on their talented defense, led by linebacker Donald Payne and safety Will Hill, to slow down the Roughnecks’ offense. The Roughnecks, meanwhile, will look to get their ground game going with running back Nick Holley and take some of the pressure off of quarterback Brandon Silvers.

Which team will come out on top and secure their first win of the UFL season? Find out on Sunday, April 21, at 2:00 PM ET on FS1.
