The Memphis Showboats (1-2) will travel to St. Louis to take on the Battlehawks (2-1) at The Dome at America’s Center in a matchup of two high-powered offenses. The Battlehawks are coming off an impressive 31-24 victory over the previously unbeaten San Antonio Brahmas, thanks in large part to the play of quarterback A.J. McCarron and big-bodied receiver Hakeem Butler.

McCarron, the former Alabama star, has been efficient and effective in his first season with the Battlehawks, spreading the ball around to a talented group of receivers. Butler, meanwhile, had his best game of the season in Week 3, hauling in six catches for 87 yards and a touchdown. The Battlehawks’ offense has been tough to stop, and they’ll look to keep rolling against a Showboats defense that has struggled at times this season.

The Showboats, led by quarterback Case Cookus, will be looking to bounce back from a tough loss to the Birmingham Stallions and get their season back on track. Cookus has shown flashes of brilliance this season but has also been sacked a league-high 11 times. If the Showboats hope to pull off the upset on the road, they’ll need to do a better job of protecting their signal-caller and establishing the run game.

With both teams featuring explosive offenses and playmakers all over the field, this matchup has all the makings of a high-scoring affair. The Battlehawks will look to defend their home turf and improve to 3-1 on the season, while the Showboats will be desperate to secure a much-needed victory and keep pace in the ultracompetitive UFL. Tune in to ABC on Saturday, April 20, at 12:30 PM ET to catch all the action.
