Both teams find themselves at a crossroads, with the Brahmas looking to maintain their position atop the XFL Conference and the Defenders desperate to get back on track after a lopsided loss to the St. Louis Battlehawks.

San Antonio enters Week 6 riding high after a hard-fought 25-15 victory over the Arlington Renegades, a win that showcased the team’s resilience and ability to grind out tough wins. The Brahmas’ offense, led by quarterback Quinten Dormady, has been efficient and effective, with Dormady completing 19 of 30 passes for 164 yards and a touchdown in Week 5.
