Week 4 of the UFL season shook up the league landscape in dramatic fashion. A stunning upset in San Antonio, a convincing win by Michigan, and a toppling in St. Louis have flipped the power structure on its head. As Week 5 kicks off, here’s where each team stands:

🥇 1. Birmingham Stallions (3–1) ▲1

Back in familiar territory atop the rankings, the Stallions responded to their lone loss with a composed 23–16 win over Houston. Matt Corral continues to settle in as a game manager with upside, and the defense is doing Stallions things: swarming, stifling, and sealing games late.

🥈 2. Michigan Panthers (3–1) ▲2

Bryce Perkins and the Panthers just keep getting better. A 27–9 throttling of Memphis showed off Michigan’s balance on both sides of the ball. Perkins passed for nearly 200 yards and added another score on the ground, while the defense generated three turnovers and made life miserable for the Showboats.

🥉 3. D.C. Defenders (3–1) ▼2

The Defenders’ undefeated dream was crushed in San Antonio. Despite Jordan Ta’amu throwing for 300+ yards, D.C. couldn’t finish drives and let the game slip away late. This team is still loaded, but the Week 4 stumble showed they’re not invincible—especially when they don’t dominate in the red zone.

4. Arlington Renegades (3–1) ▲1

Luis Perez continues to show why he’s one of the league’s most consistent quarterbacks. The Renegades flexed against the Battlehawks, forcing multiple turnovers and returning a pick-6 in a 30–15 statement win. Arlington is quietly becoming a threat to anyone in the league.

5. St. Louis Battlehawks (2–2) ▼2

Tough week for the Battlehawks, who were outplayed on both sides of the ball against Arlington. A 3–1 start felt inevitable, but sloppy execution and a defense that couldn’t get off the field exposed some cracks. Their showdown with Michigan this week will be telling.

6. San Antonio Brahmas (1–3) ▲1

With their first win of the season coming at the expense of the undefeated Defenders, the Brahmas pulled off the biggest shocker of Week 4. Interim coach Payton Pardee has these guys playing inspired football, and the defense showed real bite with three sacks and two turnovers.

7. Houston Roughnecks (1–3) ▼1

Jalan McClendon is making plays, but Houston’s issues in the red zone continue to derail promising drives. They’ve been competitive in all four games, but at some point, moral victories won’t cut it. They need to get right this week against the Brahmas.

8. Memphis Showboats (0–4) ➡

The only winless team in the UFL, Memphis hasn’t found answers on either side of the ball. Case Cookus is under pressure constantly, and the defense just gave up nearly 30 points again. Their trip to Birmingham this week doesn’t promise much relief.

🔥 Week 5 Showdowns to Watch:

  • Battlehawks (2–2) at Panthers (3–1)
A proving ground for both. Is Michigan for real? Can St. Louis bounce back?
  • Defenders (3–1) at Renegades (3–1)
D.C. needs redemption. Arlington wants respect.
  • Brahmas (1–3) at Roughnecks (1–3)
Someone’s Week 4 spark will ignite a climb. The other stays in the cellar.
  • Stallions (3–1) at Showboats (0–4)
Trap game potential? Maybe. But it’s Birmingham’s to lose.

As we reach the season’s midpoint, every win matters more. The playoff picture’s blurry—but the heat is rising.
