Two weeks into the UFL season and the table is already shifting. Defense is king, offenses are still warming up, and the Battlehawks are looking like the team to beat. But the chaos in the middle? That’s where things get spicy.

🥇 1. St. Louis Battlehawks (2-0)
Last Game: 26–9 win vs. San Antonio Brahmas
Last Week’s Rank: 1
Manny Wilkins looks smooth, Jacob Saylors is already in MVP conversations, and that defense? Ferocious. St. Louis is the most complete team in the UFL through two weeks and they’re feeding off that Dome energy.
🥈 2. D.C. Defenders (2-0)
Last Game: 17–12 win vs. Memphis Showboats
Last Week’s Rank: 3
No team finishes games like the Defenders. Ta’amu delivers in crunch time, and the defense + special teams keep making plays. They’re winning the ugly ones — which is exactly what you want from a playoff-caliber squad.
🥉 3. Arlington Renegades (2-0)
Last Game: 11–9 win vs. Houston Roughnecks
Last Week’s Rank: 2
The Renegades keep grinding out wins, but their offense still hasn’t hit full stride. Luis Perez is doing just enough, and the defense has been excellent — but they’ll need more to hang with St. Louis and D.C. long-term.
4. Birmingham Stallions (1-1)
Last Game: 21–12 win vs. Michigan Panthers
Last Week’s Rank: 6
Down go the quarterback critics. Even without McGough, the Stallions bounced back with a physical, smart performance. Matt Corral held his own, the defense looked like vintage Birmingham, and the champs are back on track.
5. Michigan Panthers (1-1)
Last Game: 12–21 loss vs. Birmingham Stallions
Last Week’s Rank: 4
This team has pieces, but the quarterback shuffle is holding them back. Perkins and Etling are both fine — but not enough to beat the league’s top-tier defenses. The Panthers need to settle in quickly or risk losing ground.
6. San Antonio Brahmas (0-2) ⬆️
Last Game: 9–26 loss vs. St. Louis Battlehawks
Last Week’s Rank: 7
Yes, they’re 0-2 — but they’ve shown more promise than Memphis or Houston. Ballage was contained in Week 2, and Mond has to clean it up, but the talent is clearly there. If they tighten up on both sides of the ball, the Brahmas can start making noise.
7. Memphis Showboats (0-2) ⬇️
Last Game: 12–17 loss vs. D.C. Defenders
Last Week’s Rank: 6
Another close loss, another frustrating finish. The defense is doing its job, but this offense can’t seem to string together consistent drives. Perry’s mobility is a plus, but they need to open the playbook or risk becoming the league’s biggest “what if” team.
8. Houston Roughnecks (0-2)
Last Game: 9–11 loss vs. Arlington Renegades
Last Week’s Rank: 8
They’re not quite in freefall, but they’re hanging on by a thread. The defense kept it close against Arlington, but Nolan Henderson needs time, protection, and help. None of those are happening right now. Still a long way to go, but Houston is firmly at the bottom.
⚡ Final Word
Week 2 told us a lot: St. Louis is legit, D.C. and Arlington are survivors, and Birmingham isn’t done yet. The Brahmas are rising despite the record, and the middle of the pack is wide open. Week 3 might start separating contenders from chaos.
