2025 UFL Week 8 &9 TV/Attendance Report

The United Football League’s second regular season is showing unpredictability and unprecedented upsets during the home stretch to the playoffs. Half of the teams (Arlington, Birmingham Houston, and St. Louis) are now finished with regular season home games, with decreasing numbers of attendance compared to the previous season in 2024.

The ratings for some games, however, have depicted solid promise for the sustainability of spring football on Fox Sports and ESPN products.

Only time will tell of the fate of ratings and fan turnout for the last seven United Football League games in 2025. And we can only hope that the results are in a positive light rather than a negative one.

Below is the full report for the 2025 Week 8 & 9 TV ratings and attendance for the UFL.

Week 9 for the UFL in 2025 saw very promising numbers for television, mainly with the Indianapolis 500 leading into the DC-Houston game on Sunday.

The United Football League’s games the past two seasons have now shown a pattern in the overall league statistics. It has been proven that later start times such as 3pm for ABC and 4pm ET for Fox garner better attendance and TV ratings, especially in the hot southern cities such as Birmingham and Houston.

Will the UFL see a spike in viewership towards the end of the regular season? 

Will the NBA and NHL playoffs coming to a close help viewership for the playoffs and championship game? 

Will attendance for DC and Michigan in Week 10 be extremely good?
